500 Days of Summer is probably one of my most favorite movies. There is a scene in it that is called Expectations vs. Reality. I think that scene was made for me. Seriously. How may times do I daydream about him in a day? About one thousand million. And how often do those daydreams come true? never. In the past I’ve gotten upset about this, in fact Friday night one of my daydreams came true…about halfway until SOMEONE interfered. I was disappointed enough that with all the other disappointing things that happened to me this week caught up with me and I snapped. The flood gates opened. But yesterday I looked at the whole situation with new, clear, God eyes and I took a snapshot in my mind of every good thing that came from Friday night. I love how God is shaping me. <33
